On the morning of April 8, 2026, Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (VKU), the University of Danang, held a meeting with the sports delegation participating in the 14th University of Danang Student Sports Festival 2026.

Overview of the meeting

Attending the meeting were Dr. Huynh Ngoc Tho-Vice Rector of the University and Head of the Delegation, along with over 150 athletes, coaches, and support staff from the VKU student sports delegation, as well as many officials, staff, lecturers, and students who came to cheer and encourage the team’s spirit before the competition.

On behalf of the University’s leadership, Dr. Huynh Ngoc Tho, Vice Rector, extended his congratulations and commended the athletes and coaches for their dedicated training efforts and thorough preparation. He also emphasized that each member of the delegation competes not only for achievements but also represents the image of dynamic and resilient VKU students who embody the core values of “Humanity – Dedication – Liberation.”The wholehearted dedication of the athletes not only contributes to  bringing glory to the University but also spreads the noble spirit of sportsmanship, unity, and integrity. The University leadership expects the athletes to compete with the highest determination, deliver exciting and impressive performances in the spirit of fair play, and become a positive source of inspiration for the student community.

The VKU student sports delegation participates in this festival with 166 members, including over 30 coaches and  support staff and 129 outstanding athletes representing nearly 8,000 students of the University. The delegation will compete in 07 sports with 10 events, including: Track and Field; Men’s and Women’s Football; Men’s and Women’s Basketball; Men’s and Women’s Volleyball; Table Tennis; Badminton; and Pickleball. The competitions will take place at the University of Danang Sports Center, the Da Nang National Sports Training Center, and the sports facilities of member universities from April 10 to April 24, 2026.

This event is not only an occasion to encourage and motivate the delegation but also demonstrates the University’s care and support for student sports activities, contributing to the development of a comprehensive educational environment at VKU. Wishing the VKU student sports delegation confidence, unity, and outstanding achievements, bringing honor to the University and leaving a strong impression at the 14th University of Danang Student Sports Festival 2026.
