Following a period of study, exchange, and practical experience in Thailand, the delegation of lecturers and students from Vietnam–Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (VKU), The University of Danang (UD), has successfully completed the “KMUTNB International Leadership Camp 2026: Technopreneurship Skills for Global Innovators” program organized by King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB). The program not only offered a dynamic international learning environment but also enabled VKU students to develop leadership capacities, innovative and creative mindsets, global working skills, and to expand their international network.

The program brings together numerous lecturers and students

The KMUTNB International Leadership Camp 2026 brought together lecturers and students from 08 universities across 06 countries and territories, including Thailand, Vietnam, South Africa, China, Indonesia, and Taiwan. Under the theme “Technopreneurship Skills for Global Innovators”, the program aimed to equip learners with the necessary knowledge and skills to become innovators and technological entrepreneurs in the context of globalization.

Students formulate ideas and deliver presentations

Within the framework of the program, VKU students participated in a series of intensive workshops on context analysis using the PESTEL model, idea development, business model formulation, brand design, presentation skills, and teamwork in an international environment. Through highly practical learning activities, students gained access to modern thinking methodologies, enhancing their analytical, creative, and problem-solving capabilities.

In particular, students were assigned to work in multinational groups alongside peers from various cultural backgrounds. From researching problems, proposing solutions, and formulating business models to presenting projects before a council of lecturers, experts, and representatives from partner universities, VKU students demonstrated a proactive spirit, rapid adaptability, and effective working capacity in an international environment. This was a valuable opportunity for them to hone cross-cultural communication skills, teamwork, global thinking, and to broaden their perspectives on current sustainable development challenges.

In tandem with the student-oriented activities, the program also organized an International Staff Link-Up Session with the participation of representatives from partner universities. At this session, VKU representatives introduced the outstanding achievements in the university’s internationalization strategy, student exchange programs, international internships, scientific research cooperation, and an increasingly expanding global partner network. VKU’s presentation garnered significant interest and positive evaluations from the participating universities, thereby opening up further opportunities for connectivity, academic exchange, and future cooperation.

Students participate in the international cultural exchange program

Parallel to the academic activities, VKU students also actively participated in international cultural exchange programs, contributing to promoting the image of dynamic, confident, and culturally rich Vietnamese students. At the Farewell Party, the VKU delegation delivered a distinctive musical performance that introduced the cultural beauties of Vietnam combined with the youthful and creative spirit of the modern student generation. The performance received enthusiastic applause from a large number of international delegates and students, contributing to spreading the image of the country and people of Vietnam, as well as strengthening solidarity and friendship among students from different countries.

The successful completion of the KMUTNB International Leadership Camp 2026 program not only brought valuable learning and international integration experiences to VKU students but also continued to affirm the efficacy of the internationalization strategy that the university is robustly implementing. Through international exchange, internship, and interaction programs, VKU constantly fosters a modern learning environment, helping students develop comprehensively and stand ready to become high-quality human resources with competitive and adaptive capabilities in a global environment.
