Mr. Phan Trung Diep – Head of Human Resources Assurance Department at FPT Software Central Region presented an overview of the Go Japan 2026 Scholarship Program

The Go Japan Scholarship 2026 is a scholarship program offering 60 scholarships with a total value of up to USD 175,000 for students in technology and engineering fields to participate in an exchange and internship program in Japan in the summer of 2026. During the program, students will study at FPT Japan Academy (FJA), where innovative teaching methods are used to enhance Japanese language proficiency, and will also engage in internships on software development projects with leading technology experts in Japan. Besides gaining learning and working experience, students will also have the opportunity to gain deeper exposure to local culture and daily life, thereby broadening their horizons and enhancing their understanding of the international environment. Furthermore, the program provides students with access to emerging technology trends such as Cloud, AI, Data Science, and Low-code development, with guidance from experienced experts and mentors in the field of information technology.

The Go Japan 2026 program presentation not only provided practical information about international learning and career development opportunities but also contributed to strengthening cooperation between the university and businesses in training high-quality information technology human resources. Notably, in 2025, VKU had two outstanding students awarded Type A scholarships under the Go Japan 2025 program, demonstrating the increasingly prominent professional competence and international integration capabilities of the university’s students. Through such practical networking programs, VKU students have greater opportunities to access a global working environment, enhance their professional skills, and be well-prepared to participate in the international labor market in the field of information and communication technology.
