On the morning of April 6, 2026, the Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (VKU), the University of Da Nang, held a working session with a delegation from the ChorogUsan for Children Vietnam (formerly ChildFund Korea – CFK) to discuss and promote cooperation directions for the next phase. Attending the meeting, on the ChorogUsan for Children Vietnam’s side, were Mr. Jang Dongwon – Country Director, and Ms. Tran Thi Thoa – Admin & HR Manager. Representing VKU were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Cong Phap – Rector, together with representatives from relevant departments, faculties, and centers.

 Overview of the working session

During the session, both sides reviewed the effective outcomes of their previous cooperation with CFK, particularly in supporting training and the development of high-quality technology human resources through organizing academic programs and intellectual playgrounds such as the Central-Central Highlands Informatics Olympiad, VKU Campus Tour, as well as scholarship programs and international exchanges for students. These activities have contributed to creating a dynamic learning environment, providing practical experience, and strongly inspiring students to pursue careers in the fields of technology, AI, and Fintech.

Building on these achievements, both sides discussed several new directions for cooperation, focusing on expanding student support programs in a comprehensive and sustainable manner. These include enhancing scholarship programs, strengthening digital and professional skills training aligned with real-world demands, and implementing community support projects, particularly for young people. At the same time, both parties explored opportunities to promote international exchange programs, academic collaboration, and experiential learning activities in South Korea.

The ChorogUsan Fund highly appreciated VKU’s development orientation and expressed its willingness to continue accompanying the university in implementing meaningful educational initiatives, thereby contributing to the development of high-quality human resources in Vietnam.

The meeting reaffirmed the strong and growing partnership between the two sides. Beyond previous support activities, it opens up new opportunities for deeper, more practical, and long-term cooperation, aiming toward shared goals of human development, community contribution, and a sustainable future.
