Orientation Meeting for VKU Students Participating in the “Hanwha Life Future Plus Korean Invitation Program 2025” in Korea
On the morning of November 6, 2025, Viet Nam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (VKU), the University of Danang, held an orientation meeting for the student delegation before their participation in the “Hanwha Life Future Plus Korean Invitation Program 2025” in Korea.

Attending the meeting were Dr. Huynh Ngoc Tho, Vice Rector; representatives from the University’s Departments, Faculties, and Centers; and 20 outstanding students selected from cohorts 2021-2025 across the Faculties of Computer Science, Computer Engineering and Electronics, and Digital Economy and E-Commerce.
The “Hanwha Life Future Plus Korean Invitation Program,” taking place from November 10 to 14, 2025, is fully sponsored by Hanwha Life and the CFK Foundation (Korea), covering all expenses including visa, transportation, accommodation, and experiential activities. This program offers VKU students a valuable opportunity to engage, learn, and experience Korean culture and technology, while connecting with international students and broadening their global perspective.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Rector Huynh Ngoc Tho congratulated the 20 outstanding students selected from 80 applications and shared his message: “This is a valuable opportunity for you to access and experience an international learning and working environment, as well as Korean culture – a leading nation in technology and innovation. Each VKU student is not only a learner but also an ambassador representing the University and Viet Nam. VKU hopes that you will demonstrate a spirit of learning, discipline, creativity, and readiness for global integration, helping to promote the positive image of VKU students to international friends.”

The students underwent an interview and selection process from 80 submitted applications
This year’s program continues the success of the “2024 Korean Invitation Program,” reaffirming the strong and long-standing cooperation between VKU and its partners Hanwha Life and the CFK Foundation (Korea). It is also part of a series of international academic exchange and mobility programs, with nearly 60 VKU students participating in activities in Japan, Korea, Thailand, and Taiwan, demonstrating the University’s strong commitment to internationalization in education and student experience.
The meeting concluded in a warm, joyful, and proud atmosphere. The upcoming journey to Korea is expected to be an important milestone, helping VKU students grow and gain confidence on their path toward global integration, carrying forward the spirit of “Global Thinking – Confident Action – Creative Integration” to the world.
