On the morning of April 7, 2023, Vietnam ICT Association of Faculties-Institutes-School-Universities (FISU Vietnam) organized the 2nd National Congress, term 2023-2028. Attending the Congress were leaders representatives and former leaders of the Ministry of Science and Technology; Ministry of Education and Training; Ministry of Information and Communications; Vietnam Informatics Association; nearly 200 delegates from agencies, organizations and training institutions representing collective members of FISU Vietnam.

The 2nd National FISU Vietnam Congress, term 2023-2028

Vietnam – Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (VKU), the University of Da Nang has 3 members attending the Congress: Assoc. Prof. Ph.D. Huynh Cong Phap, Rector, FISU Central – Central Highlands Chairman; Assoc. Prof. Ph.D. Nguyen Thanh Binh, University Council Chairman, FISU Central – Central Highlands Vice Chairman; Dr. Nguyen Quang Vu, Head of Department of Science Technology and International Corporation, FISU Central – Central Highlands Secretary.

FISU Central – Central Highlands, a branch of FISU Vietnam and in which VKU plays a key role, was established to promote and improve the quality of training and research in the field of information technology and digital economy in the Central – Central Highlands. From there, the units will work together, share resources, exchange academic and internship students, especially coordinate to organize scientific research activities together.

With the initial results in the process of participating in FISU Central – Central Highlands, being proactive and active in proposing solutions and activities of FISU Central – Central Highlands as well as participating in the joint activities of FISU Vietnam, Vietnam – Korea University of Information and Communication Technology is honored to be one of five units in the country to be awarded certificates of merit by the Vietnam Informatics Association at this Congress.

The 2nd Vietnam FISU Congress (term 2023-2028) elected an Executive Committee consisting of 28 members, of which Prof. Ph.D. Nguyen Thanh Thuy, Chairman of the IT Professor Council, holds the position of FISU Vietnam Chairman, Assoc. Prof. Ph.D. Huynh Cong Phap – Rector of Vietnam – Korea University of Information and Communications, FISU Central – Central Highlands Chairman and other members elected as FISU Vietnam Vice Chairman.
