In 2023, Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (VKU), Danang University had a brilliantly successful enrollment season and was ranked among the top universities with high entrance scores in the country and the highest entrance scores in the Central – Central Highlands.

Admission scores continuously increased compared to previous years for all 14 training majors/minors. Admission scores ranged from 24 to 26 points (based on academic transcripts) and from 22 to 26 points (based on the national high school exam scores). The average 2023 admission score increased by 2.0 points compared to that of 2022 and increased by 6.0 points compared to that of 2020 (The average admission score of the first year of enrollment was approximately 18 points). In particular, the number of candidates admitted directly to the school increased very quickly with more than 400 students, accounting for nearly 30% of the total 1,538 enrolled students, bringing the total student population of the school to nearly 6,000 students.

2024 Enrollment Consulting Campaign

Following the success of the 2023 enrollment season, right from the first days of March, 2024 (March 3 – 9, 2024), VKU deployed a campaign to communicate and promote enrollment consulting program directly in 14 provinces/cities in the Central – Central Highlands region with 15 enrollment consulting teams that directly visited 450 high schools and approached more than 150,000 students in various ways to introduce VKU and VKU’s 2024 enrollment information with outstanding preferential policies as well as attractive training majors/minors.

In 2024, VKU enrolls 1,500 students for 16 majors/minors with 5 admission methods including: direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and VKU, admission based on Competency Assessment Examination scores issued by Vietnam National University – Ho Chi Minh City, and admission based on academic transcripts and The National High School Exam scores. In addition, VKU continues to maintain admission and financial support policies for learners with the most preferential tuition fees currently ranging from 6 million VND to 8 million VND per semester and also many other financial policies supporting from 50% to 100% of tuition fees from 01 semester to the entire course for candidates who meet the prescribed conditions and standards.

The campaign of communicating and promoting 2024 enrollment consulting program in the Central – Central Highlands region aims to affirm the leading and unique position of a public university providing in-depth training and research in information technology, communications and digital economy, which helps students and their parents have a comprehensive view and clear understanding of VKU with accurate enrollment consulting information so that they can trust, choose and orient careers in the future.
