From May 23-26, 2023, the Asia Technology Summit and Exhibition – InfoComm Asia 2023 took place in Bangkok, Thailand.Leaders of Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (VKU) include Assoc. Prof. Ph.D.Huynh Cong Phap, Rector, FISU Central – Central Highlands Chairman and Dr. Le Phuoc Cuu Long, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Digital Economy and E-Commerce, with Dr. Nguyen Ha Huy Cuong, Deputy Director of Software Development Center – the University of Danang, was invited and sponsored by the Conference  Organizing Committee to attend.

Infocomm Asia is Asias largest AV (AudioVisual) and IT Summit and Exhibition held annually. In 2023, more than 130 world-leading enterprises from more than 18 countries will exhibit AV and IT products with nearly 6,500 visitors. Here, the University delegation had the opportunity to experience the product and update the practical technology knowledge of Smart Campus which is very useful for the orientation of building VKU Smart Campus in the strategy of building the first digital university in the Central – Central Highlands to 2027.

Also during the trip, the University leaders visited and exchanged cooperation with King Mongkuts University of Thailand and Thailand National Science Park to exchange opportunities for cooperation in training, scientific research, entrepreneurship and creativity. In particular, the University leader also studied and learned the operating model, operation mechanism, architectural design, building a network of partners,… to orient the construction of creative, scientific, start-up and co-working space (Innovation, Research, Incubator and Co-working Space) at VKU within the framework of ODA-KOICA project.

The work trip has been really effective and successful, expanding international cooperation, improving capacity, technology knowledge, practical experience for sustainable development and raising the international level for VKU in the future.
