The VKU delegation includes four outstanding students: Nguyen Xuan Phong (22GIT), Nguyen Hoang Minh Nguyen (23AI), Vo Thi Hanh Phuong (23EL2), and Le Anh Thanh Thanh (24GDM). They were carefully interviewed and selected based on their excellent academic performance, extracurricular achievements, and English proficiency, all of which meet the program’s requirements.
Throughout the JNU Global Summer School 2026, VKU students will engage in a wide range of academic activities, intercultural exchanges, and cultural immersion experiences in an international environment. The program offers valuable opportunities for students to broaden their knowledge, enhance their English communication skills, strengthen their global competencies, deepen their understanding of different cultures, and build networks with peers from around the world. Notably, each participating student receives direct financial support of USD 468.5 from the Korean Government-funded ODA Project. This practical support helps reduce students’ expenses while enabling more VKU students to access high-quality international exchange programs.

Dr. Huynh Ngoc Tho, Vice Rector of VKU, delivers remarks at the orientation session
In his remarks, Dr. Huynh Ngoc Tho, Vice Rector of VKU, congratulated the selected students on earning the opportunity to participate in the program. He emphasized that the program is not only an invaluable international learning experience but also an opportunity for each participant to serve as an “ambassador,” promoting the image of Vietnam and VKU students to the international community. He encouraged the students to be proactive in learning, confident in communication, and actively engaged in both academic and cultural activities while strictly complying with the program’s regulations and maintaining the image of VKU students as dynamic, innovative, disciplined, and globally minded. He also expressed his hope that, upon returning, the students would share their knowledge, experiences, and practical insights with their peers, thereby fostering the spirit of internationalization throughout the university.
The growing number of VKU students participating in academic exchange programs at prestigious universities worldwide continues to demonstrate the effectiveness of the University’s internationalization strategy, which has been strongly promoted in recent years. Through its ever-expanding global partnership network, VKU continuously creates opportunities for students to study, conduct research, engage in intercultural exchanges, and develop their competencies in multicultural environments. These efforts contribute to nurturing a new generation of digital citizens with a global mindset, strong intercultural competence, and the readiness to meet the demands of the international labor market.
