On April 3, 2026, the Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (VKU), the University of Da Nang, officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Xbrain Technology Joint Stock Company. This milestone marks a significant step in strengthening collaboration between the university and industry, with the shared goal of developing high-quality human resources to meet the evolving demands of the technology sector.

Overview of the ceremony

The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Huynh Ngoc Tho – Vice Rector of VKU, and Mr. Ngo Manh Ha – General Director of Xbrain Technology Joint Stock Company, along with representatives from various departments of both organizations and a large number of VKU students interested in the program. The event not only demonstrated the strong commitment to strategic cooperation between the two institutions but also opened up numerous opportunities for students in terms of learning, internships, and future employment.

Under the agreement, VKU and Xbrain will establish a comprehensive partnership based on principles of voluntariness, equality, and mutual benefit. The collaboration will focus on several key areas, including training, human resource development, recruitment, scientific research, and organization of academic activities. Both parties will work closely to implement internship programs, with priority given to VKU students for internship placements and recruitment at Xbrain. In addition, the partnership will promote soft skills training, professional development courses, seminars, and workshops to enhance students’ practical competencies. Xbrain also plans to support VKU through scholarships, sponsorship of academic initiatives, and collaboration in student communication and career orientation activities.

A highlight of the event is the remarkable achievement of VKU students in the XBRAIN x AWS Accelerator & Internship Program. After a rigorous three-month selection process, 150 outstanding candidates were chosen from more than 1,300 applicants. Among them, 23 VKU students were successfully selected, showcasing the university’s strong training quality and the competitiveness of its students in high-tech environments.

The XBRAIN x AWS Accelerator & Internship Program is designed to identify, train, and develop technology talents in the fields of Cloud and AI, providing a learning environment closely linked to business practices, while also creating opportunities to access real-world projects and offering clear career orientations for students. The strong presence of VKU students in the program highlights the university’s effectiveness in implementing a practice-oriented, industry-linked training approach, as well as its commitment to international integration.

The signing of the cooperation agreement between VKU and Xbrain, together with the outstanding performance of VKU students in the internship program, further reinforces VKU’s position as a leading and reputable institution in the fields of information technology, communications, and digital economy both in the Central region and across Vietnam.
