In 2025, admissions at Vietnam–Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (VKU), the University of Danang, continued to achieve positive results. The University fulfilled 100% of its enrollment quota, admitting 1,500 students across 19 majors/specializations. The admission benchmark scores remained stable for three consecutive years at 23–24 points, ranking among the highest in the Central region and nationwide. Notably, the proportion of incoming students from the top 20% of academic achievers has steadily increased, contributing to the formation of a capable, creative, and ethically grounded student community. This serves as a strong foundation and motivation for students to achieve outstanding results in academic studies, scientific research, and national as well as international academic competitions. In 2025, a total of 1,454 students enrolled, bringing the University’s total student population to nearly 8,000.

2026 Admissions Counseling Campaign

Entering the 2026 admissions season, VKU continues to implement its admissions campaign across the Central region from March 8 to March 14, 2026. This year’s campaign is organized with 15 counseling teams visiting high schools in 9 provinces and cities, including Da Nang, Hue, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Quang Tri, Ha Tinh, and Nghe An. Throughout the campaign, the teams reached nearly 450 high schools, providing admissions information and career orientation to more than 170,000 students across the Central region.

In 2026, VKU plans to enroll 1,700 students across 22 majors/specializations, including 4 newly introduced programs: Digital Media and Entertainment Management, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, Robotics Engineering and Artificial Intelligence, and Semiconductor IC Packaging and Testing. These new programs are designed to meet the rapidly evolving trends in science and technology and the growing demand for high-quality human resources. Along with implementing three flexible admission methods—direct admission and priority admission in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, a combined admission method, and admission based on the competency assessment test results of Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City—VKU continues to maintain a competitive and affordable tuition policy, expected to range from VND 8.5 to 11.5 million per semester. The University also offers a wide range of financial support policies and scholarships, covering from 50% of one semester’s tuition up to 100% of the full program tuition. In particular, high-value entrance scholarships for valedictorians and salutatorians will continue to be offered to attract outstanding students nationwide.
