Dr. Nguyen Quang Vu spoke
Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Nguyen Quang Vu was pleased to welcome representatives of Naz Anime Vietnam to visit and work at VKU. Dr. Nguyen Quang Vu shared and introduced VKU, its training programs in general and Multimedia Communication and Digital Art & Design in particular. In 2020, VKU began enrolling students in the major of Multimedia Communication (2D) and Digital Art & Design (3D) with a target capacity of 120 students; in June 2024, they will begin their graduation internship and graduation defense. In 2024, VKU will begin enrolling students in the field of Communication Technology and establish the Faculty of Digital Communication. To ensure teaching quality, VKU has an experienced teaching staff trained right from the first years when colleges and universities in the central region began training in graphic-related professions.
Mr. Hibi Yasumasa spoke
On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Hibi Yasumasa thanked VKU for the enthusiastic and thoughtful reception. He also shared about Naz Studio and Naz Anime Vietnam. Naz Studio is a company operating in the field of Japanese animation production and distribution, founded by CEO Yasuo Suda in 2013 and currently located in Tokyo, Japan. The company’s anime products have won many international awards such as the NewType Anime Award, as well as widespread recognition and high rankings on the Netflix platform. According to Mr. Hibi, the demand for Japanese anime products from major customers like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video is very large. In particular, in Japan, an average of about 80 animated films are produced in a year, but there is a great shortage of production human resources. This is also the reason why the company wants to expand its market in other countries including Vietnam, Taiwan and Malaysia to find anime production human resources and VKU will be a reliable source of human resources in the near future. The meeting ended with the expectation of a long-term cooperative relationship between VKU and Naz Anime Vietnam. The two sides will continue to exchange information and implement specific cooperation programs in the coming time, in order to bring practical benefits to students and meet the development needs of the anime industry.
