VKU works with Savvycom on Cooperation in IT Training and Recruitment for the Korean Market
On the afternoon of September 8, 2024, the University of Danang, Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (VKU) welcomes and works with Savvycom on cooperation in IT training and recruitment for the Korean market.
Overview of the Meeting
Representing Savvycom are Ms. Dang Thi Thanh Van – Founder and CEO, and Mr. Le Sy Vinh – Co-Founder and Technical Advisor. On the VKU side, the meeting is attended by Dr. Tran The Son, Vice Rector, along with leaders of various faculties, departments, and centers within the university.

In the meeting, Dr. Tran The Son, Vice Rector of VKU, expresses his pleasure in welcoming Savvycom’s leadership for the visit. He emphasizes VKU’s clear mission and responsibility in providing high-quality human resources, conducting scientific research, and transferring knowledge and technology, with a vision to become a leading university in Vietnam and aspire to international reach in education and research. VKU operates under an advanced governance model and aims to be a modern and smart university. Currently, VKU offers 16 majors/minors and has a robust team of faculty members and 6,000 students, with a goal to expand to 8,000 students by 2025. VKU’s curricula focus on Information Technology, Communications, and Digital Economy, with specializations in Information Technology, Computer Engineering Technology, Information Security, Artificial Intelligence, Logistics, Digital Tourism and Travel Services, Digital Marketing, are meeting the current labor market’s demand for human resources.
As a specialized IT university with over 6,000 students and an annual intake of 1,500, VKU provides a high-quality IT workforce to meet current human resource needs. VKU has also been collaborating with many Japanese and Korean partners to offer IT programs with enhanced Japanese and Korean language skills. Among these is the IT Engineer program with enhanced Japanese language skills in partnership with NiX Education, which has achieved significant results and serves as an effective model for future collaboration.
At the meeting, VKU expresses its desire for Savvycom to join hands in various activities, such as Korean language training for IT students, the annual Job Fair, and specialized seminars introducing technology, technical skills, and job opportunities for VKU students.
