Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Hoang Son, Vice Director of ITI, Delivers Opening Remarks
In his opening speech, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Hoang Son, Vice Director of the Institute of Information Technology, shared: “This research camp 2024 offers numerous opportunities for us to collaboratively advance research and development in information technology and semiconductor microchips while enhancing practical and research skills. The program includes expert-led sessions with hands-on guidance to develop project proposals and provide international publication training, fostering sustainable collaborations between ITI and universities.”
With the diverse and rich content of Research Camp 2024, the program featured a wide range of topics, focusing on ITI’s main research areas, including Artificial Intelligence, Semiconductor Microchips, Cybersecurity, and Digital Transformation. Emerging and cutting-edge research topics, such as Generative AI, AI Chip Technology, and the National Data Sharing Platform, were thoroughly presented by experts, along with in-depth analysis of their practical applications and implementation. In between the research presentations, sessions guided writing project proposals for national and international funding, tips for selecting and publishing articles in WoS/Scopus-indexed journals, how to meet the standards for Scopus-indexed papers and experience in developing standardized cybersecurity projects.
Prof.Dr. Tran Xuan Tu, ITI Director, Discusses IoT Semiconductor Microchip Research
To further promote collaborative research between VKU and ITI, at Research Camp 2024, Prof.Dr. Tran Xuan Tu, Director of ITI, discussed specific collaboration plans: implementing short-term cooperation programs lasting 1-2 months at the VNU-RMIT laboratory, where research groups will collaborate on writing proposals for potential projects, and sharing data and computational resources. Additionally, ITI will provide opportunities for VKU faculty and graduate students to participate in internships, while also strengthening joint doctoral research training between the two institutions.
Through these collaborative activities and knowledge sharing, VKU continues to affirm its vision of becoming a leading university in information and communication technology, contributing to the development of high-quality human resources ready to embrace new challenges in the digital world.
