VKU: Warmly welcome Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ho Chi Minh City
On the morning of June 26, 2023, the Rector of Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (VKU), the University of Da Nang – Assoc. Prof. Ph.D. Huynh Cong Phap had a meeting with Mr. Daniel Stork – Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ho Chi Minh City to visit and work. Attending the meeting, there was Mr. Peter Van Dijk – PUM (Programma Uitzending Managers) – Netherlands and representative leaders of the Universitys departments attended.

At the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Ph.D. Huynh Cong Phap was pleased to welcome the Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ho Chi Minh City, experts from Pum Organization visited and worked, on behalf of the Universitys leaders, Assoc. Prof. Ph.D. Huynh Cong Phap would like to express his deep thanks to the Government, organizations and businesses of the Netherlands for their attention and support to the University in developing solutions and improving capacity development for universities in Vietnam. VKU considers this a great opportunity to strengthen the exchange of cooperation with the Dutch Government, PUM Organization, through the advice and support of experts, VKU hopes to find support resources to the University, lecturers and students in improving training, finding scholarships, internships for students, as well as projects to promote the development of creative start-ups among students.Assoc.Prof.Ph.D. Huynh Cong Phap – VKUs Rector was pleased to welcome Mr. Daniel Stork, Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ho Chi Minh City and deeply thanked the Dutch Government, agencies, organizations and businesses.
Mr. Daniel Stork, Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ho Chi Minh City thanked Assoc. Prof. Ph.D. Huynh Cong Phap and the University’s department leaders took the time to welcome and express his joy at visiting and working here. Thereby introducing the outstanding activities of the Dutch Government in Vietnam in general and in Da Nang City in particular, he believes that the relationship between the Dutch Government and the University in strengthening mutual interest area cooperation such as: building joint training programs between two countries, developing human resources for foreign markets, and especially with PUM, VKU will build and complete PUM projects for VKU in the coming time, which will bring great opportunities for students, potential to become real startups, help them improve their own capacity, expand their study and work paths in the future.Mr. Daniel Stork, Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ho Chi Minh City
At the end of the visit, the two sides discussed the future development projects, visions and orientations, through support and with the right conditions and orientations, the University will open up new cooperation opportunities in the future, creating breakthroughs in the process of international integration as well as contributing to the diplomatic friendship between the two countries of Vietnam and the Netherlands.
