Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Phan Thuan – Vietnam Informatics Association, representing the expert and lecturer council, delivers a speech

On behalf of the expert and lecturer council of the summer camp, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Phan Thuan from the Vietnam Informatics Association expressed his admiration for the students’ learning spirit and aspirations in the region. The students from junior high schools, high schools, and gifted high schools in the Central – Central Highlands region have been gradually asserting their position in national and international intellectual competitions. Bright examples such as Dang Huy Hau (from Thang Long Gifted High School, Lam Dong) and Le Kien Thanh (from Le Quy Don Gifted High School, Binh Dinh) have contributed to placing the region on par with the two ends of the country. Particularly this year, two students, Nguyen Phu Nhan and Hoang Cong Bao Long (from Le Quy Don Gifted High School, Da Nang), have entered the top 10 to participate in the International Artificial Intelligence Olympic in Beijing. These contributions demonstrate the resilience and intellect of the students from the Central Highlands – promising talents contributing to the sustainable development of the region.

The summer camp will run from June 29 to July 8, 2025, and will be organized into three levels: A, B, and C. It will be guided by lecturers and experts from the Vietnam Informatics Association, Hanoi University of Education, University of Science, Ho Chi Minh City, University of Economics and Business, and particularly the VKU teaching team – dedicated supporters of students passionate about IT.

Not only a place for learning and enhancing knowledge, but the summer camp also provides students with a modern experiential space, a rich academic environment full of inspiration at VKU – a university equipped with advanced facilities, a digital library, high-tech labs, along with a welcoming spirit and full support from the organizing committee, teachers, and volunteer students.
