This is a well-deserved reward for the five outstanding students of the K-Tech College 2025 program, which took place at VKU from June to October 2025. The trip not only broadened their international perspectives but also offered valuable real-world experiences in technology, culture, and the working environment of South Korea – one of Asia’s leading innovation hubs.
Upon arriving at Incheon International Airport, the VKU student delegation was warmly welcomed by LikeLion Korea, marking the beginning of a meaningful and insightful learning journey. During their days in Korea, the students visited major technology enterprises and organizations, listened to experts, and learned firsthand about the development models and innovation practices of the “Land of the Morning Calm,” with notable highlights such as:
- Job Korea, the leading recruitment platform in South Korea, where students learned about human resource development strategies, corporate culture, and the application of technology in HR management.
- Supercent, a globally renowned company with more than 1.2 billion downloads in Hypercasual games, where students gained insights into game development strategies and user experience optimization.
- Global Startup Academy and K-Unicorn Academy (under KOSME), which provide training, incubation, and global expansion support for Korean tech startups. VKU students had the opportunity to interact directly with experts and better understand how Korea builds its startup ecosystem by integrating technology, creativity, and investment.
- The Waves, a pioneering company applying AI and digital technologies in producing K-POP content, offering students a fresh perspective on the convergence of entertainment and technology (ContentTech).
- Netmarble Game Museum, where students explored the history of the Korean gaming industry – from classic devices to modern gaming trends.

The student delegation also attended the SK AI Summit 2025 – a large-scale technology exhibition organized by SK Group in Seoul, themed “AI Now & Next.” This major forum brought together leading global technology corporations such as SK Hynix, NVIDIA, and Anthropic, offering students the opportunity to explore the latest trends in artificial intelligence, data, and global technology infrastructure.
During the trip, the delegation also visited LikeLion Korea, the operator of the K-Tech College program, where they received insightful information about the E7 Visa policy, designed for international technology professionals working in Korea. This serves as a practical pathway for Vietnamese students – especially those from VKU – on their journey to becoming global technology engineers.
The journey also offered students rich cultural experiences, including visits to Gyeongbokgung Palace, Gwanghwamun Square, and the Lotte World Tower, a modern symbol of Seoul. In addition, the delegation explored Songdo Smart City, Wolmido Island, and Incheon Port, gaining insights into Korea’s “city of the future” model as well as its distinctive maritime culture and economy.
The study and experiential trip in South Korea concluded with excitement and pride. VKU students returned not only with knowledge, skills, and career inspiration but also contributing to strengthening VKU’s international education brand – a pioneering university in Vietnam–Korea educational cooperation, nurturing a generation of bold, creative, and globally integrated digital citizens.
