VKU students’ internships at Hanwha Life Vietnam: A journey of growth and lasting impressions

Vietnam – Korea University of Information and Communications Technology (VKU), University of Danang proudly announces that four of its outstanding students have successfully completed their internships at Hanwha Life Vietnam from July 28 to August 22, 2025, under the Vietnam – Hanwha Life Job Training Program. The internships resulted from a rigorous selection process that enabled students to engage in a professional workplace, strengthen their competencies, and acquire real-world experience.

A highlight of the program was Hanwha Life Vietnam’s sponsorship, covering all internship-related expenses, including scholarships, housing, and living costs with a total value of up to 17 million VND. Along with valuable experience, interns were awarded a certificate of completion, considered for future positions at Hanwha Life, and eligible for an A grade from VKU upon meeting all professional and attitudinal criteria. These tangible benefits demonstrate the company’s strong commitment to supporting and investing in the younger generation.

Over the course of four weeks in Ho Chi Minh City, VKU students took on diverse roles across departments such as Agency Training Operations, Finance & Accounting, and Information Technology. Each student gained valuable experiences, lessons, and personal stories throughout the internship.

For Nguyen Bao Gia Han, the internship was like “a movie” filled with experiences and memories, where she learned coordination, data processing, and the ability to maintain positivity under deadline pressure. For Mai Dinh Gia Thinh, the chance to contribute to AI projects at Hanwha Life and Hanwha Financial Technology became a meaningful milestone to help him grow in both ability and mindset while experiencing genuine support and respect from senior colleagues.

For Nguyen Cuu Kim Anh, the internship marked a step toward maturity as she gained her first professional corporate experiences – developing skills in presentation, communication, and systematic work management – while nurturing her ambition to rejoin Hanwha Life one day. Meanwhile, Nguyen Tri Dung demonstrated maturity through his sense of responsibility, meticulousness, and valuable mentoring sessions that helped him shape his long-term career path.

From the business perspective, the representative of Hanwha Life Vietnam highly appreciated VKU students for their strong learning spirit, quick adaptability, and serious approach to work. Not only did the students fulfill their assigned tasks effectively, but they also demonstrated their initiative and creativity, contributing fresh ideas and approaches to the workplace. According to Hanwha Life Vietnam, accompanying VKU in fostering young talents represents an essential element of its sustainable growth strategy, and the company looks forward to receiving more VKU students for internships and career opportunities ahead.

Internship at Hanwha Life was more than a testing process – it was a pathway to maturity, offering VKU students challenges, training, and the confidence to trust their own capabilities. These valuable experiences will serve as a solid foundation for students to pursue new achievements in their studies and future careers.

The internship at Hanwha Life Vietnam may have ended, but the knowledge, skills, and positive experiences acquired will remain valuable assets for the students on their journey ahead. This also reflects VKU’s commitment to practical training, consistently supporting students in developing competencies, fostering ambitions, and reaching out to the wider world.
