VKU Signs Cooperation Agreement with Connexus: Promoting Training, Research, and Human Resource Development in Semiconductors and Artificial Intelligence
On the afternoon of January 6, 2026, Vietnam – Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (VKU), The University of Danang, officially held a cooperation signing ceremony with Connexus Technology Co., Ltd. This event marked a new milestone in the partnership between the university and the enterprise in the field of high technology, particularly in semiconductor microchips and artificial intelligence.

Attending the program, on behalf of VKU were Dr. Tran The Son – Vice Rector of the University, along with representatives of the leadership of relevant departments and faculties. Representing Connexus was Ms. Nguyen Thi Loan – Chairwoman of the Members’ Council. The signing ceremony took place in a formal yet open atmosphere, reflecting the spirit of partnership and long-term cooperation between the two sides.
Strengthening collaboration with enterprises is one of VKU’s strategic orientations, aiming to closely link education with practical application, enhance the quality of human resources, and meet the increasingly high demands of the labor market in key fields such as semiconductor microchips, artificial intelligence, and digital technology. VKU expects that the cooperation with Connexus will open up numerous opportunities for learning, research, and career development for students, postgraduate learners, and faculty members.
Connexus highly appreciated VKU’s potential in training and research, as well as the quality of its students, and expressed its desire to accompany VKU in sharing knowledge and practical experience, as well as in participating in the development of research projects and applications in semiconductor and AI technologies in the coming time.

According to the signed agreement, VKU and Connexus agreed to implement various practical cooperation activities. Accordingly, both parties will coordinate in organizing and participating in knowledge exchange and academic activities through specialized conferences and seminars on semiconductors and artificial intelligence. These activities aim to update emerging technology trends, promote research collaboration, and strengthen expert networking. Connexus will also assign representative experts to share practical experience in short-term training courses and thematic programs organized by VKU, enabling students and trainees to gain closer exposure to real-world production and research practices.
In addition, the two parties place strong emphasis on cooperation in research and development of new semiconductor technology products. Connexus will collaborate with VKU in supervising students and postgraduate learners in conducting research topics and scientific publications in the field of semiconductor microchips, while assigning professional advisors to accompany and support students throughout their participation in practical projects. Both sides also agreed to jointly implement co-research projects related to semiconductor and artificial intelligence technologies.
In terms of career orientation, VKU will support the introduction of capable students graduating from relevant majors to Connexus’s recruitment partners. From the enterprise side, Connexus will provide career counseling, establish connections, and receive VKU students for internships or junior engineer positions, based on competency assessments and annual recruitment demands.
The cooperation signing program between VKU and Connexus not only contributes to enhancing the effectiveness of education and scientific research but also affirms the University’s role in connecting academia and industry. This partnership aims to build a sustainable ecosystem of training, research, and application in high-tech fields, meeting development requirements in the new phase.
