VKU meets and works with DevPlus and VEEP to enhance training cooperation and participate in joint research projects
On the afternoon of June 18, 2024, the Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (VKU), University of Danang, held a meeting with DevPlus JSC and VEEP JSC to discuss training cooperation and participation in joint research projects.
An overview of the meeting
Attending the meeting, from the business side, were Mr. Bui Ngoc Vinh – Co-Founder of DevPlus and VEEP, and Mr. Pham Vu Huy Hoang – Co-Founder of DevPlus. From VKU, there were PhD. Huynh Ngoc Tho – Vice Rector, along with leaders from various departments and faculties of the university.

During the working session, Vice Rector PhD.Huynh Ngoc Tho expressed his pleasure in welcoming the leaders of DevPlus and VEEP for their visit and cooperation discussions. He shared that VKU is a leading public university specializing in training, scientific research, technology transfer, and startup activities in the fields of information technology, communication, digital economy, and related areas. VKU operates under an application-oriented university model with a smart, modern environment and advanced management methods, providing high-quality human resources for international integration and the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Currently, VKU has nearly 6,000 students and aims to reach 8,000 to 9,000 undergraduate and
postgraduate students by 2025. VKU’s training programs in information technology, communication, and digital economy, including majors such as Information Technology, Computer Engineering Technology, Information Security, Artificial Intelligence, Logistics, Digital Tourism and Travel Services, Digital Marketing, etc., are meeting the current labor market’s human resource needs.

Representing DevPlus and VEEP, Mr. Bui Ngoc Vinh expressed his joy at VKU’s sincere and thoughtful reception. DevPlus is a pioneer in skills training and AI, providing a practical training environment that helps learners bridge the gap between academia and industry. VEEP specializes in implementing projects related to green transformation, energy saving, and environmental protection through high-tech applications.
Through the discussions, both sides agreed to develop detailed plans to enhance student skills, enabling them to quickly adapt to the business environment post-graduation. Notably, both sides agreed to implement joint research projects, especially those related to energy saving, developing applications on the LoRaWan network platform, and bringing research results to the market.
