On February 18, 2025, as part of its international collaboration expansion, a delegation from Vietnam – Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (VKU), the University of Danang, visited Pranchiburi Campus, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), Thailand.

Following up on the strategic directions established in previous discussions with KMUTNB leadership, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Cong Phap, Rector of VKU, and the delegation engaged in in-depth exchanges with KMUTNB faculty leaders. The discussions focused on concrete collaboration plans in faculty and student exchanges and joint research initiatives in information technology and the digital economy.

Welcoming the delegation were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Khridsadakhon Booddachan – Dean of Faculty of Industrial Technology and Management (FITM), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supeeti Kulchan – Vice Dean for Corporate Communication, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ranin Kijkla – Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and Service Industry, along with lecturers and students of KMUTNB University.

During the visit, the VKU Leadership Delegation visited practical learning models such as tourism, hotels, and restaurants, to learn and build training models closely linked to reality, such as hotels and international conference centers at VKU shortly. In particular, the Delegation also visited the LAB rooms on information technology and networks, where 6 VKU students are doing paid internships and have research results with professors of KMUTNB University.

The meeting concluded with concrete agreements, paving the way for significant progress in implementing collaborative plans between VKU and KMUTNB in 2025.
