Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Huynh Ngoc Tho, Vice Rector of the university, expressed his pleasure in welcoming the Korean students to VKU – a university established and developed with the valuable support and partnership of the Korean Government, particularly through the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) under ODA projects that have been and continue to be implemented. This close cooperation has enabled VKU to develop modern facilities, an advanced learning environment, and a high-quality teaching staff. It also serves as a solid foundation for implementing diverse international cooperation programs, including VKU-ISEP – an academic and cultural exchange initiative launched by VKU in 2024, featuring numerous exchange and collaboration activities with universities and volunteer organizations both in the region and around the world. VKU-ISEP is not merely an academic exchange program, but a comprehensive experience where students engage with and learn directly from international peers, broadening their perspectives and enhancing their adaptability in a multicultural environment. In particular, to enhance the effectiveness of its cooperation activities, VKU is currently offering bilingual Korean-Vietnamese IT Engineering training programs and advanced Korean language courses, enabling students not only to communicate effectively but also to gain deeper insights into Korean culture, society, and technology.
