VKU exchanges with Sunmoon University Students, Korea in the framework of Blue Ladder Project 2023
On the afternoon of July 12, 2023, the Department of Science, Technology and Cooperation of the Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (VKU), the University of Da Nang had a meeting to welcome staff, lecturers and students from SunMoon University, Korea and Duy Tan University on the journey to participate in the Blue Ladder Project 2023 in Da Nang City, Vietnam.

The Blue Ladder project co-executive by the Ministry of Education and the Korea Scholarship Fund, is a project that provides training experience abroad and open a career path for university students who had economic and social difficulties to ensure equal educational opportunities. 4 million won of the South Korean government subsidy amount per person will be provided for dormitory fees, local education fees, etc.
In 2023, the Blue Ladder Project will be implemented in 3 countries, Thailand, Vietnam and the United States, of which in Vietnam will be hosted by SunMoon University, Korea with 35 members selected from 850 students of 17 great universities in Korea. This is a meaningful program with the purpose of helping Korean students have the opportunity to experience and visit famous places. Korean students are very excited to visit and experience at VKU
Within the framework of the program, SunMoon University Students, Korea will participate in experiential and learning activities at universities in Da Nang City. VKU is one of the destinations because of the VKU’s development and history based on the friendly diplomatic relationship between Vietnam and South Korea. At the meeting, VKU shared and introduced main university overviews and outstanding activities in the relationship between VKU and the Korean Government, KOICA and Korea partners in recent years. Thereby, once again affirming VKU is one of the bright spots on the cooperation relationship between Vietnam and Korea, a bridge of friendship between the two peoples of Vietnam and Korea and an impressive destination for Korean tourists in Central Vietnam.
The experience trip at VKU helped SunMoon University Students, Korea feel similarity in training model, academic activities as well as educational philosophy, people at VKU. Hopefully, through this project, the delegation will have many good memories at VKU in particular, the country and people of Vietnam in general.
