On the afternoon of November 4, 2025, Vietnam – Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (VKU), the University of Danang had a meeting with the representative of Ba Na Danang Cable Car Service Joint Stock Company (Ba Na Hills) to discuss and strengthen cooperation in internship and business experience programs for both VKU and international students.

Attending the meeting, from Ba Na Hills were Mr. Nguyen Duy Anh – Director of Culinary Arts, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Khanh Linh – Head of Human Resources Administration. Representing VKU were Dr. Huynh Ngoc Tho – Vice Rector and representatives from the university’s relevant departments and faculties.

In an open and friendly atmosphere, the two sides discussed the internship and professional practice program for VKU students at Ba Na Hills. The program offers students valuable opportunities to develop a professional working style, experience the environment of one of Vietnam’s leading tourism and service enterprises, and apply their academic knowledge to real-world practice.

In addition, this cooperation also extends to international students, particularly Thai exchange students at VKU. Allowing Thai students to undertake internships at Ba Na Hills not only provides them with valuable practical experience in an international working environment but also fosters cultural exchange and strengthens multinational training collaboration among the university, enterprises, and international partners.

The representatives of Ba Na Hills highly appreciated the capacity and learning attitude of VKU students in previous cooperation programs, and expressed their desire to further expand the scale of internship opportunities, aiming at developing professional exchange programs, vocational skills training and soft skills aligned with the actual recruitment requirements of businesses.

At the end of the meeting, the two sides agreed to promptly implement a plan to receive VKU students and Thai exchange students for internships at Ba Na Hills in late 2025 and early 2026. At the same time, VKU will put forward to a long-term cooperation roadmap in training, communication, research and development of high-quality human resources to serve the tourism and digital service sectors in the coming time.

The meeting opened up many prospects for practical cooperation, contributing to realizing the goal of “learning goes hand in hand with practice, and the university is closely linked with enterprises”, helping VKU students confidently integrate into professional environment and affirm their competence in the real-world working settings.
