VKU and SYSTEM EXE VN discuss cooperation to develop technology human resources according to Japanese standards

On the morning of May 27, 2025, Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (VKU), the University of Danang, held a working session and cooperation exchange with SYSTEM EXE VN Company to discuss, connect, and promote strategic collaboration between the university and the enterprise, especially in the field of training high-quality IT human resources and digital transformation following international standards.

Attending the session, on behalf of SYSTEM EXE VN Company was Mr. Nguyen Thanh Thong – Chief Executive Officer. Welcoming the delegation, on behalf of VKU was Dr. Huynh Ngoc Tho – Vice Rector of the university, along with leaders of departments and faculties of the school.

In his speech at the working session, Dr. Huynh Ngoc Tho – Vice Rector of the university, warmly welcomed the representatives of Bitdeer who visited and worked at VKU. He shared that VKU was established in 2020, with an annual enrollment target of 1,500 students, and an average entrance score of 24 points for 19 majors/specializations in the fields of information technology, communications, and digital economy. To date, VKU has nearly 7,000 students and aims to reach 8,000 to 9,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students by 2025. The academic staff currently includes over 250 lecturers, of whom nearly 70 are doctors and associate professors, accounting for nearly 41%. Furthermore, VKU has focused on connecting and building a network of over 200 strategic partners, including domestic and international organizations and enterprises involved in training, recruitment, sponsorship, and implementation of cooperative training programs such as bilingual global programs in English-Vietnamese, Japanese-Vietnamese, Korean-Vietnamese, etc. VKU also implements many activities, events, and international academic-cultural exchange programs, real projects, internships, corporate cooperation, and strengthens foreign language teaching, especially with 100% of students’ graduation theses written and presented in English. VKU is always ready to cooperate with large domestic and international technology enterprises to connect training with practice, create career opportunities for students, and contribute to the strategy of attracting high-tech investment in Danang. With strengths in specialized training in AI, semiconductor chip design, digital technology, and bilingual-international programs, VKU is confident in meeting the current and future human resource demands of both domestic and international markets.

Representing SYSTEM EXE VN, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Thong expressed his pleasure at working at VKU, a young, dynamic educational institution with a clear orientation and great development potential. SYSTEM EXE VN is a subsidiary of SYSTEM EXE Japan – one of the reputable IT companies headquartered in Tokyo, specializing in software development solutions, system services, and IT consulting. In Vietnam, the company has an office in Ho Chi Minh City and is expanding its development in Danang, aiming to build a high-quality software engineering team to meet domestic and international projects, especially in the Japanese market. He also shared the increasing demand for IT human resources with good expertise, professional attitude, and Japanese communication skills, especially in the Central Vietnam market where the company is developing its office in Danang. SYSTEM EXE VN wishes to collaborate with VKU to implement internship programs, soft skills training, organize specialized seminars, and further cooperate on research and development of digital transformation solutions serving Japanese enterprises in Vietnam.

The working session concluded in an open, positive atmosphere with promising development potential. Both sides agreed to continue close connection and jointly realize specific contents of cooperation in the near future. This marks a new step in the strategy to expand the network of enterprises accompanying VKU in training, research, and innovation, contributing to affirming the position and brand of the university within the Vietnamese higher education system.
