On the afternoon of March 11, 2025, the Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (VKU), the University of Danang, held a meeting with MC Security, Japan (MCS) to discuss collaboration in training, developing, and recruiting cybersecurity human resources.

Overview of the Meeting

Attending the meeting were Mr. Miyawaki Kazuhide, Chairman and CEO of MCS, and Mr. Nagasaki Yoichi, Executive Director of MCS. From NIX Education, Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia, CEO, participated. Representing VKU were Dr. Tran The Son, Vice Rector, along with leaders from various departments and faculties.

During the meeting, Dr. Tran The Son – vice Rector of VKU, warmly welcomed MCS leaders to VKU. He introduced VKU as one of Vietnam’s leading universities specializing in information technology, communications, and the digital economy. VKU continuously invests in modern facilities and equipment while constantly updating its training programs to meet labor market demands, particularly in cybersecurity.

Previously, MCS, in collaboration with NIX Education, conducted interviews with eight VKU students from the Japanese-Vietnamese bilingual IT Engineering Program. As a result, two outstanding students were selected for an internship at MCS. MCS representatives highly appreciated VKU’s training quality, particularly the students’ technical skills, Japanese language proficiency, and professional work ethic.

The meeting between VKU and MCS was a great success, marking the beginning of a long-term partnership in cybersecurity training and workforce development. This collaboration aims to contribute to the growth of the IT industry in both Vietnam and Japan.
