Meeting with Faculty and Students Participating in the “Innovation & Intercultural Exchange Camp (IIEC)” at KMUTNB, Thailand 2025
In a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere ahead of their upcoming international learning journey, Viet Nam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (VKU), the University of Danang, organized a meeting to provide orientation for the delegation of faculty and students participating in the “Innovation & Intercultural Exchange Camp (IIEC)” – an international program on research, academic cooperation, and cultural exchange – at King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), Thailand, in 2025.

The event was attended by Dr. Huynh Ngoc Tho, Vice Rector of VKU, representatives of university departments, accompanying faculty members, and 20 selected students from various faculties.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Huynh Ngoc Tho congratulated the 20 students on their outstanding achievement in being selected for the program. He emphasized that this is a valuable opportunity for students to learn, exchange ideas, and experience a modern and dynamic international academic environment. He also encouraged the VKU delegation to be proactive, creative, and enthusiastic in promoting Vietnamese culture, people, and especially the image of VKU students as dynamic, integrated, and competent young individuals.

The delegation consists of 20 distinguished students from various cohorts and faculties, including 14 students from the Faculty of Computer Science, 1 from the Faculty of Computer Engineering and Electronics, and 5 from the Faculty of Digital Economy and E-Commerce. All of them have demonstrated excellent academic performance, research capabilities, and active participation in extracurricular activities. They are expected to serve as “young ambassadors” contributing to strengthening international cooperation between VKU and KMUTNB.
The “Innovation & Intercultural Exchange Camp (IIEC)” is one of the key international collaboration activities between VKU and KMUTNB, aiming to promote academic exchange, scientific research, and cultural understanding between students from Vietnam and Thailand. During the program, VKU students will take part in creative workshops, short-term research projects, cultural exchange activities, and experiential activities in Bangkok, helping them develop teamwork, creativity, and global integration skills.
The meeting was not only an opportunity for the university to provide orientation, guidance, and encouragement to the delegation but also demonstrated VKU’s strong commitment to creating opportunities for students to learn, research, and engage in international exchange. It also reaffirmed VKU’s strategic vision as a pioneering, integrated and innovative public university committed to nurturing a new generation of global citizens in the digital era.
