IIEC 2025 is a key international cooperation activity between VKU and KMUTNB, aiming to enhance academic exchange, scientific research collaboration, and cultural interaction among students from Southeast Asian countries, especially with Thai students, while promoting the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 4 – Quality Education, SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals).

Activities at IIEC 2025
Throughout the program, VKU students had the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities such as creative workshops, the Technopreneurship Challenge, innovation project presentations, as well as cultural exchange activities such as traditional dancing, culinary showcases, Thai milk tea making, krathong crafting, and experiencing the festive atmosphere of the traditional Loy Krathong celebration with the local community. Remarkably, students’ English communication, presentation abilities, and multicultural teamwork skills were strengthened through discussions and interactive sessions with international peers from Indonesia, Taiwan, and Thailand.
The VKU student delegation ranging from first-year to fourth-year students, including 14 students from the Faculty of Computer Science, 1 student from the Faculty of Computer and Electronic Engineering, and 5 students from the Faculty of Digital Economics and E-Commerce, showcased the image of dynamic, confident, creative, and professional Vietnamese students on the international stage. Many of the innovation ideas presented by VKU students received high appreciation for their integration of technology and practical solution-oriented thinking. Additionally, VKU lecturers served as advisors and mentors throughout the activities and participated in academic sharing sessions at KMUTNB, contributing to expanding the research collaboration and professional exchange network between the two universities.
The IIEC 2025 journey concluded not only with valuable experiences but also with new opportunities for VKU students – young “ambassadors” in the global education environment. Returning from Thailand, the students bring with them knowledge, experiences, and inspiration to continue innovating, connecting, and spreading the spirit of international integration within the VKU student community.
With a vision to train high-quality human resources who are culturally aware, proficient in foreign languages, and ready for a global work environment, VKU is affirming its position as one of the pioneering universities in Vietnam in expanding international cooperation and empowering students to reach the world. The journey at IIEC 2025 may have ended, but it marks the beginning of new milestones for VKU students in their path to integration and conquering global knowledge.
