In 2024, Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (VKU), the University of Danang, had a remarkable admission season, marking significant progress after five years of establishment. With outstanding achievements, especially in student recruitment, VKU successfully fulfilled 100% of its enrollment target—admitting 1,500 students across 16 programs/majors. The entrance benchmark scores have been consistently maintained at 23–24 points over the past three years, ranking among the top universities in the Central – Central Highlands region and nationwide. Notably, the number of students admitted directly to VKU saw a sharp increase, exceeding 400 students, accounting for nearly 30% of the total 1,521 new enrollments. This expansion has brought the total number of VKU students to nearly 7,000.

Admission counseling campaign in 2025

As the 2025 admission season begins, VKU continues its direct admission counseling and promotional campaign from early March 2025 (March 3–9, 2025) across 14 provinces and cities in the Central – Central Highlands region. With 15 working groups, VKU has visited 432 high schools and directly engaged with over 160,000 students, providing them with essential and accurate enrollment information in the most accessible and engaging way.

In 2025, VKU maintains its enrollment target of 1,500 students across 19 programs/majors, introducing four new majors: Financial Technology, Game Technology, Data Analytics, and Automotive Software Engineering Technology. The university will continue to implement five admission methods: direct admission as per the Ministry of Education and Training’s regulations, university-specific admission criteria, admission based on the Ho Chi Minh City National University’s Competency Assessment Test, academic record-based admission, and admission based on the national high school graduation exam results. Additionally, VKU remains committed to student support policies, offering the most competitive tuition fees, ranging from 8 to 9 million VND per semester, along with various financial aid programs for students meeting specific eligibility requirements.
