On the morning of July 12, 2023, the Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (VKU), the University of Da Nang had a meeting and worked with Agest Company (Japan) and LogiGear Vietnam to strengthen and exchange cooperation in the fields of training, science transfer – digital technology and recruitment of human resources in the future.

Attending the meeting, on the side of enterprises, there was the participation of Mr. Mamoru Seki – Product Manager (CPO) of Agest Company and General Director of Digital Hearts Holdings Group (Japan), Mr. Mizuide – General Director of LogiGear Vietnam and associates are LogiGear Director Branches in Vietnam. On the side of VKU, there was Assoc. Prof. Ph.D. Huynh Cong Phap – Rector and University Faculty and Department’s Leaders.

Chair at the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Ph.D. Huynh Cong Phap welcomes representatives of enterprises that have visited and worked at VKU. Expanding the network of cooperation with many corporations and businesses in order to train and build a high-quality staff to meet the needs of the domestic and foreign labor market, VKU always focuses on cooperation opportunities to bring about the most favorable connection between the University and the Enterprise. With strong potential and support from enterprises, it will be a great motivation for VKU to realize the path to become a leading and world-class university in Vietnam, making an important contribution to the development of higher education in Vietnam, as well as providing high quality human resources for the global market.

From the achieved results when cooperating with Japanese enterprises, VKU typically in collaboration with Nix Education Company to successfully implement the IT engineer class – Japanese language enhancement, it is evidenced that students can now communicate in Japanese at N3 level, develop thinking, communication skills, handle situations and especially can perform well at enterprises. Thereby, the University will continue to develop and expand more multidisciplinary Japanese training courses at VKU, raise the quality of training to a new level and access advanced education in the world.

At the meeting, Mr. Mamoru Seki briefly introduced the strengths and fortes in the companys activity areas. Agest is known as one of the leading companies in Japan providing IT solutions in the development of leading software testing technologies, along with Software Development services, cybersecurity. Agest and LogiGear are also key partners, providing comprehensive support to improve the quality and safety of customers software, creating a secure and trusted digital society around the world.

Discussing at the meeting, representatives of enterprises expressed their willingness to implement cooperation in projects and programs between the two sides in the future, the connection between VKU and enterprises will open up many opportunities for students, such as building training programs (Japanese), sponsoring scholarships to encourage and create strong motivation for students. In addition, Agest and LogiGear will work with the University to find qualified candidates to develop in areas such as Software Testing, Generative Pre-training Transformer (GPT).

At the end of the meeting, the Rector proposed to build a scale strategy, incorporating businesses that have cooperated with the University for a long time, thereby forming a training block for separate and solid Japanese enterprises. From the good businesses attention and feedback, with training strategy and developing human resource, the right orientation, and quality standards to reach employers today, the cooperation between the University and businesses will bring positive and effective results in the future.
