On the morning of May 14, 2024, the Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (VKU), University of Danang, held a meeting with the EI Group, an Education, and Investment Corporation. The meeting aimed to discuss cooperation in creating study and employment opportunities for students in the Federal Republic of Germany.

In attendance were Ms. Do Thi Hang, Director of the Da Nang Branch of the EI Group, and from VKU, Dr. Huynh Ngoc Tho, Vice Rector, along with leaders from various faculties and departments of the university.

During the working session, Associate Professor Huynh Ngoc Tho – Vice Rector of the University expressed his joy and desire for future cooperation between VKU and EI Group. VKU is a public university specializing in education, scientific research, technology transfer, and entrepreneurial activities in the fields of information technology, communication, digital economy, and related industries following the applied university model with an intelligent, modern environment and advanced management methods, providing high-quality human resources for international integration and the 4.0 Industrial Revolution. Currently, VKU offers training in 16 majors, with a strong team of faculty members and a current enrollment of 6,000 students, aiming to reach 8,000 students by 2025. VKU’s training programs in information technology, communication, and digital economy, including majors such as Information Technology, Logistics, Digital Tourism and Hospitality Services, Digital Marketing, etc., are highly suitable for the needs of the market in Germany. VKU hopes to collaborate with EI Group in implementing training programs ranging from 6 months to 1 year, exchanging interns with schools in Germany, as well as offering a German language training program at VKU in the near future.

On behalf of EI Group, Ms. Do Thi Hang expressed her delight at the sincere and thoughtful reception by VKU. EI Group is a pioneering organization in German and English language training, as well as study abroad, human resource, and immigration consulting for developed countries such as Germany, the UK, Australia, the US, and Canada. With a long tradition of development, along with 15 subsidiary companies and 6 institutes, EI Group has now established a presence in almost all 63 provinces in Vietnam, with over 400 representative offices and application reception centers. Currently, EI Group is a strategic partner of many international organizations such as BSW, DEB, MEV, VIDACTA, ATMC, TAMWOOD, SHAFSTON, and ILSC.

Through discussions, both sides agreed to exchange detailed plans to move towards a long-term cooperation program, expanding VKU’s training models to include the German language alongside the currently integrated languages such as English, Japanese, and Korean, in order to enhance the strategy of internationalizing the training of high-quality human resources in the future.
