On the morning of April 25, 2023, the Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (VKU), the University of Da Nang held a signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement with FPT Software Central (FSoft Central) and introduced the Training Program Information Technology Engineer – Korean Language.

Attending the signing ceremony, on the side of FSoft Central, there was Mr. Le Hong Linh – Director and associates; on the side of VKU, there was Dr. Tran The Son – Vice Rector with the University Faculties and Departments’ leaders.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Dr. Tran The Son said, VKU clearly identifies the development, strengthening cooperation with businesses, enhancing foreign language knowledge as a key role, creating strong breakthroughs in training future human resources, creating changes in Vietnams socio-economic development, as well as meeting the criteria of domestic and foreign enterprises. To achieve the goal, students do not merely study in the class, from the support of businesses for students, which are valuable and great opportunities helping students develop successfully on the career path and future. The cooperation with FSoft Central demonstrates VKUs strong aspirations and clear strategy in in-depth training in information technology, communication and digital economy.

The strategic cooperation between the two sides will create many opportunities for the two units to be considered as a top in the field of information technology training, this is not the first time FSoft Central cooperates with VKU in the fields of training, but the cooperation in training IT Engineer classes – Korean language is a breakthrough, committed to comprehensive support both finance and specialize, This is considered a necessary cooperation between the two units, creating many opportunities before the problem of serious shortage of IT human resources, especially bridge engineers for foreign markets, good at foreign languages and specialize.

FSoft Central sets a target of strong revenue growth by 2025, and a demand for more than 1,000 personal growth in the next 2 years, which is an effort, a roadmap that FSoft Central wants to invest in and support the University in training Information Technology Engineer – Korean.

The cooperation agreement agreed upon by the two parties and committed to focus on areas such as:

–  Combined with the University to recruit students with full basic knowledge of IT, open the first IT Korean class, develop and transfer the content of Korean language training programs for 3rd year students majoring in IT.

–  Fully support tuition fees for students taking IT Korean class (10 credits, equivalent to 3.5 million VND/scholarship), scholarships of 100 million VND/scholarship for elite students trained by FSoft for 2 years, as well as commitment to internship recruitment, Fresher recruitment right after graduation.

–  Organize Korean output training to achieve TOPIK 3 or higher, besides, recruit Bridge Engineers to work at Korean enterprises.

The signing ceremony between FSoft Central and VKU took place successfully, marking an important and necessary development in the cooperation relationship between the University and the Enterprise, opening up many new opportunities for students to choose majors with English, Japanese and Korean languages.
