Closing Danang AI4Life 2025 – Academic and Creative Imprints for a Better Life
After two days of serious, dynamic, and academically rich activities, on the afternoon of December 27, 2025, at Vietnam–Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (VKU), the University of Danang, the Closing Ceremony of the Artificial Intelligence and Applications Competition – Danang AI4Life 2025 was solemnly held. The event officially marked the successful conclusion of the competition season, once again affirming the prestige and growing influence of this in-depth academic playground in artificial intelligence, initiated and hosted by VKU since 2024.

Overview of the Closing Ceremony
The Closing Ceremony was attended by representatives of the University’s leadership, scientists, experts, business representatives, and domestic and international partners. On behalf of VKU, there were Dr. Huynh Ngoc Tho – Vice Rector of the University, along with leaders of departments and specialized faculties. International guests included Dr. Jong Won Lee – KOICA ODA Project, and Prof. Dr. Kang Sun Moo – Kyung Hee University (Republic of Korea). Representatives of sponsors and accompanying partners included Ms. Hiroko Kamiunten – NiX Education Joint Stock Company, Mr. Le Hong Linh and Mr. Muhammad Tariq – FPT Software Central Region, Mr. Ngo Van Vinh – GLD-LAB Company (Japan), and Ms. Tran Hanh Trang – CEO of Enosta Group. The ceremony also welcomed a large number of lecturers, experts, members of the judging panel, and finalist teams who advanced to the final round.

In his remarks at the Closing Ceremony, Dr. Huynh Ngoc Tho – Vice Rector of VKU emphasized that Danang AI4Life 2025 was not merely a technology competition, but also an open academic space where students were encouraged to conduct research, innovate, and develop artificial intelligence solutions aimed at serving people and the community. Through each competition round, the Organizing Committee highly appreciated the teams’ serious investment, professional working spirit, and innovative thinking, reflected in numerous AI products and models with strong practical applicability, closely addressing real-world issues in education, healthcare, environment, agriculture, security, and social life.

Danang AI4Life 2025 was organized with two competition tracks, namely AI Challenge and AI4Life, attracting significant interest and participation from hundreds of teams with more than one thousand students from the registration stage. After preliminary rounds, evaluations, and professional training sessions, the top 40 teams from the AI Challenge track and the top 20 teams from the AI4Life track advanced to the final round. The finals showcased impressive performances, clearly demonstrating students’ professional competence, teamwork skills, and technological confidence in the field of artificial intelligence.

At the Closing Ceremony, the Organizing Committee presented awards to outstanding teams from both competition tracks. For the AI Challenge track, one First Prize was awarded to Team Khỉ Con, with members Dao Khanh Duy, Ho Sy Bao Nhan, Nguyen Thi Ha Phuong, Nguyen Thi Chau Thi, and Nguyen Huyen Trang; one Second Prize went to Team Cod3r, consisting of Truong The Quoc Dung and Phung Anh Sang; two Third Prizes were awarded to Team Four Star and Team ClickSolve; along with six Consolation Prizes for teams with notable achievements, recognizing their strong capability in solving technically and academically advanced artificial intelligence problems. For the AI4Life track, one First Prize was awarded to the project “Anti Scam” by Team The Liems, with members Phan Minh Gia Huy, Le Tang Phu Quy, and Nguyen Ngoc Xuan Quynh; one Second Prize was presented to the project “EduMate – Empowering the Modern Vietnamese Education” by Team EduMate; together with three Third Prizes and sixteen Consolation Prizes, honoring creative ideas aimed at addressing practical issues in social life. The total prize value of the Artificial Intelligence and Applications Competition – Danang AI4Life 2025 reached VND 110 million, reflecting the strong commitment, investment, and meaningful support from the University, enterprises, and partners toward student research and innovation activities.

The success of Danang AI4Life 2025 continues to affirm VKU’s consistent orientation of linking education and scientific research with the practical needs of society, while fostering an open academic environment where students are encouraged to innovate, experiment, and develop technology products with high practical value. The competition also serves as a vivid testament to VKU’s pioneering role in connecting networks of universities, research institutes, and enterprises both domestically and internationally, working together to develop high-quality artificial intelligence human resources for the Central–Central Highlands region and the whole country.
As the 2025 season comes to a close, Danang AI4Life 2025 not only leaves a strong impression as a large-scale, in-depth, and practice-oriented academic competition, but also opens up expectations for the continuation of student ideas, projects, and creative journeys in the future – contributing to the dissemination of the message “AI for Life”, true to the spirit the competition pursues.
