Orientation meeting for students selected for internships at Hanwha Life Vietnam

The internship program at Hanwha Life Vietnam is held annually and features a highly selective process to choose students with the appropriate abilities and qualities. In 2025, the program drew significant interest from students majoring in Information Technology, Financial Technology and Business Administration. To qualify for participation, students must meet stringent criteria, including excellent academic performance (a cumulative GPA of 3.2/4.0 or higher), good English communication skills, well-developed soft skills, quick adaptability, and a high sense of responsibility. The selection process consists of two stages: the preliminary round organized by VKU and the direct interview round conducted by the Company (Hanwha Life HR and Hanwha Life Vietnam).

Mai Dinh Gia Thinh and Nguyen Tri Dung, both from the Information Technology Engineering program (Class 22GIT), were among the selected students

After passing the rigorous screening process, 4 excellent students of VKU were officially selected for the program. Of the four selected, Mai Dinh Gia Thinh and Nguyen Tri Dung from the Faculty of Computer Science are pursuing the Information Technology Engineering program (Class 22GIT). The remaining two students, from the Faculty of Digital Economy and E-commerce, are Nguyen Bao Gia Han (majoring in Information Technology Project Management – Class 22IM) and Nguyen Cuu Kim Anh (majoring in Digital Financial Management – Class 22EF). The diversity of majors among the selected students highlights VKU’s strength in interdisciplinary training, particularly in the fields of digital technology and digital economy.

Scheduled for July 28 to August 22, 2025, the internship program will be conducted at the headquarters of Hanwha Life Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City. During this period, students will experience a professional working environment and receive training from Hanwha Life’s experts. The program covers in-depth topics such as financial technology (Fintech), artificial intelligence, data analysis, system security, and practical skills in project management and digital finance. In addition, students will take part in group activities, work on project assignments, and present their results to a panel of experts, thereby enhancing their professional competencies and teamwork skills in an international environment.

A highlight of the program is that Hanwha Life Vietnam sponsors all costs for participating students, including scholarships, housing, and living allowances, with a total support value of up to 17 million VND. Furthermore, participating students are awarded an internship completion certificate, considered for priority recruitment at Hanwha Life, and may receive an A grade for the internship module at VKU, provided they meet all criteria for professional competence and work ethics.

The participation of VKU students in internship programs organized by leading international enterprises is a testament to the university’s training quality. At the same time, this also reaffirms VKU’s growing reputation and its capacity for international integration. Strategic cooperation with enterprises enables VKU to blend theoretical training with hands-on experience, ensuring its students are well-prepared for opportunities in the international labor market. This reflects the university’s consistent strategic orientation – cultivating a generation of students equipped with strong capabilities, courage, and rapid adaptability to thrive in the digital era and meet the evolving needs of the knowledge economy.
