First Two Students from the Japanese-Vietnamese Bilingual Software Engineering Program Officially Recruited to Work in Japan

On the morning of July 21, 2025, at the VJIT Space, Vietnam – Korea University of Information and Communication Technology – The University of Danang (VKU) solemnly held a ceremony to announce and present official recruitment decisions to two outstanding students of the first cohort of the Japanese-Vietnamese Bilingual Software Engineering Program (21JIT). This marks an important milestone and the first tangible outcome of the collaborative efforts between VKU, NiX Education, and Japanese enterprises in training and developing high-quality human resources aligned with international standards.

The event was honored by the presence of representatives from VKU’s departments, faculties, and centers; Mr. Chitose Koshi – General Director of NecScat Corporation; Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia – General Director of NiX Education; along with the program’s executive board, lecturers, and students from cohort 21JIT as well as other students currently enrolled in the Japanese-Vietnamese bilingual program at VKU.

In his remarks at the ceremony, Mr. Chitose Koshi, General Director of NecScat, expressed his deep gratitude to VKU and NiX Education for initiating the meaningful and high-value Japanese-Vietnamese Bilingual Software Engineering Program, which has brought significant benefits to partnering enterprises. He also shared his strong impression and high appreciation for the foreign language proficiency, IT skills, and eagerness to learn demonstrated by students participating in the program, particularly student Tran Thi Thu Dung and student Nguyen Ngoc Lanh, who were selected as the most outstanding candidates. “After nearly three years of working together through internships and real-world projects, we have witnessed their remarkable efforts, maturity in professional competence, and exemplary work attitude. I firmly believe that they will quickly adapt and thrive in the professional working environment in Japan starting from early 2026. NecScat is committed to continuing to support and accompany them on their upcoming journey in Japan,” said Mr. Koshi.

In the solemn yet warm atmosphere of the ceremony, Tran Thi Thu Dung and Nguyen Ngoc Lanh, students of the 21JIT cohort, officially received their job offer decisions from NecScat Co., Ltd., marking the beginning of a promising new chapter in their careers within Japan’s professional tech environment. Speaking on behalf of the newly recruited students, Tran Thi Thu Dung emotionally shared that her learning journey at VKU not only equipped her with technical knowledge and skills but also fostered her personal growth through Japanese language lessons, practical business training sessions, and an enriching internship. “Each step of the journey has helped me build confidence and resilience to enter the international workplace,” she said. Echoing Dung’s sentiments, Nguyen Ngoc Lanh expressed his deep gratitude to the lecturers, partner companies, and NiX Program for their support and for creating a comprehensive training ecosystem that closely connects academia with industry practices. Both students affirmed their commitment to continuous self-improvement and professional development, determined to live up to the trust and expectations of the university and employers, and to contribute to spreading the values of the Japanese-Vietnamese bilingual training program at VKU.
