On the afternoon of January 19, 2025, Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (VKU), the University of Danang, warmly welcomed and exchanged with a group of volunteer students from Yonsei University, South Korea, in a cheerful, warm, and energetic atmosphere at the beginning of the new year 2025. This activity is part of the annual exchange program between the two universities, contributing to strengthening the Vietnam-Korea friendship.

During the exchange, a representative from VKU shared and introduced an overview of the university, emphasizing key activities in the strong relationship between VKU and the Korean government, KOICA, and major Korean partners in recent years. Through this, VKU once again affirmed its role as a highlight in the Vietnam-Korea cooperation, a bridge of strong friendship between the two nations, and an attractive destination for Korean tourists in Central Vietnam.

VKU and Yonsei Students Exchange and Learn Together

The exchange program featured a variety of rich and meaningful activities. VKU and Yonsei students together participated in an experience of writing Korean calligraphy, learning how to create delicate and meaningful strokes in each character. One of the highlights of this exchange was a lively and youthful dance activity, where the students danced to trending and energetic dances that are currently popular on social media, adding excitement and strengthening the bond of the exchange.

These activities not only left a deep impression but also provided opportunities for language practice, cultural exchange, and the strengthening of close friendships between students from both universities. VKU and Yonsei students shared joy, and learned more about each other’s cultures, countries, and people, contributing to building important foundations for their future studies and careers in both Vietnam and South Korea.

The exchange program between VKU and Yonsei students concluded successfully, leaving unforgettable memories in the hearts of the students and setting the stage for more meaningful cooperative activities in the future.
