Welcome to VKU Campus Tour 2023
In parallel with the grand final of the Fourth Olympiad in Informatics in Central – Central Highlands, 2023, on March 18, 2023, Vietnam – Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (VKU), the University of Da Nang organized and welcomed nearly 1,500 students of high schools in Da Nang city and Quang Nam province to participate in VKU Campus tour 2023. This is an annual activity held at VKU to help high school pupils have the opportunity to experience, learn about the university environment and career orientation in the future.

VKU is known as the leading and unique public university in the Central – Central Highlands region for in-depth research and training in Information Technology, Communication and Digital Economy with an application orientation according to the international university model. At VKU, we have the best and most powerful lecturers in the Central – Central Highlands with 100% lecturers with postgraduate degrees, including 60 PhDs, Associate Professors and 100% Masters, trained in countries with developed education. VKU always cares about and creates the best conditions for students through maintaining preferential and minimum tuition fees; offering many admission policies, direct admission, scholarship support… Most importantly, the University has a new, modern and regularly updated curriculum and teaching methods according to international standards, focusing on bilingual training; training majors, meeting the demand for high quality human resources for the 4.0 industrial revolution, including: Information Technology, Computer Engineering Technology, Digital Design, Business Administration, Artificial Intelligence, Logistics and Digital Supply Chain Management, Digital Tourism and Travel Services Management, Digital Financial Management, Information Technology Project Management… In particular, with a specific training model, students can approach according to the project-based learning and practical learning “learning by doing”, strengthen English, Japanese, Korean, learn by experience through many academic activities, competitions, useful playgrounds to develop knowledge, skills, learn in conjunction with creating practical products right from the first year such as robot (robocar), website (BWD), Spring code challenge, mobile application,… help VKU University’ second year students have the opportunity to work still sitting in class.
Attending the festival, students had the opportunity to learn more about the University such as the majors training, facilities, equipment for learning, laboratories system, practical, accommodation (dormitory),…And in particular, students are interested in the Universitys 2023 enrollment information, with many HOT majors in trend, with preferential tuition fees from 5.5-6.8 million VND, entrance benchmarks over the years and separate enrollment policies with many highlights that have attracted attention to be noticed and shared.

In addition, the students also visited the campus with spacious and modern infrastructure invested by the Governments of Vietnam and South Korea estimated at more than VND 1,000 billion on a large campus area of nearly 24 hectares along with standard lecture halls, working areas and 60 practice and labs including 2,200 networked computers, automatic control practical devices and embedded systems to meet the needs of research and learning for students. In particular, there are 19 international standards research and laboratories with modern equipment invested by the Korean government. In the period 2022-2027, the Korean Government continues to invest over VND 200 billion to improve research capacity, training and administration, including the construction of Smart Campus and Innovation Center.

With the educational philosophy of Humanity – Service – Liberation, along with experimental activities for high school pupils, VKU wishes to create opportunities to help them have the opportunity to learn more about the university environment, and at the same time contribute to career orientation and counseling for high school pupils. This is a human meaning experience program and all free, which VKU has previously organized many meaningful programs to help connect pupils, students, parents and University.
